Now if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go get ready to watch this game.

You know, charge my smartphone and prep the avocado toast and such.

I remember catching shit for watching the whole KU-Yale(?) basketball game before joining friends watching the UT-USC mythical championship game. Why the hell would I care about texas or USC?

Poster dunks and B Rush highlights.
^^^^

This guy gets it.

Competitive games are only fun if you don't have a rooting interest or you have money on the outcome.

I will say, blowing out a quality opponent is better, but any blowout win is a good thing.
Casual fans when KU loses: at least it was a good game.

"I will murder you."
I always have found it fun/intriguing, with people I became friends with or moreso significant others, the evolution of figuring out the emotions of being with a KUBB fan ( I imagine this applies to many a sport/franchise ).

Say for instance, you're a month into dating someone, and they say something like that after a loss, "well, at least it was fun!"

A year later, you're out with your date/sigO and friends to watch a game, and a casual at the table says "well, at least it was fun" and your date/sigO starts shaking their head NO NO NO with their eyes bulging and their teeth gritted.

Sounds like a lot of people have issues with KU games interfering with other games. First, as has been mentioned, bad fans. Second, get an HDMI splitter. Without a doubt the best purchase I've made in my life. Saturdays, whether it be basketball or football, my TV never has less than 4 games running at the same time. Unless it's KU. That obviously gets the full screen.

Also, fun fact:

One time at a jam band festival I bought weed from a hippie wook chick who went by the name of Stony Brook

I don't think this board cares anymore. The discussion ain't happening here.

Anyway, I am going tonight, and wish I could see Jalen. Not sure how many more AFH games I will get to this season with demand for the good games being high following COVID year and having an awesome team.

Is it though? Last I checked the secondary market was damned reasonable for some top-half conference games.

If you can't get up for Stony Brook, hard to imagine Missouri causing much of a ripple.

I guess I’ve only been eyeing UK, UT, and Baylor.

There were plenty of available seats last Friday. You'll likely have enough room to spread out a bit.

Glad it's game night; can't wait to see if the young guys can build on their momentum and if Agbaji can keep racking up 20 point games. Really looking forward to see if Pettiford can keep developing; I think he could be a huge asset late in the season.

Yea, Bobby’s an unexpected surprise.

The spark plug off the bench role seems between him and Joe

And man, what a luxury!

Remember those not-too-distant seasons when our guard play was one guy playing 40 minutes?

Doesn't sound like we will see much of Clemence/Adams tonight because it's another 5-guard team.

Our guys better be running them out of the gym.

Stony Brook lost by 22 to George Mason, who is now coached by former Mizzou player Kim English. I saw that George Mason upset Maryland last night.

KU is favored by 25.5 so we should get another Teahan three in the books.

Busy week next week, so maybe it is a game you don't run Och, CB, and Dave their full minutes.

I think Remy and Dajuan need the clock, though.
