I'd guess that the feds do not pursue the hate crime charges unless the judge somehow inexplicitly gives them light sentences. Not an expert on hate crime charges, but the evidence seems damning tho - the confederate flag on the truck, the N-bomb exclaimed over a dying Arbery, and the fact the 911 call that day is little more than “we seen a black guy running so we grabbed our guns and chased him!”

I'm sure they will get solitary for a while, but then the white supremacists will protect them as much as they can. But, they'll all taste black dick as some point.
That said, I do not condone prison violence of any kind. I think, behind the over sentencing of POC, the violence in our prison systems needs to be fixed.
