For fuck sake, not even a playoff system can prevent boring blowout college football games amongst the "best" teams.

21-0 before first quarter is done. What a riveting, enjoyable game to watch.

I even considered watching the Bluemont basketball game, but then I saw Stan Weber.

I'm not below eating crows. This has become somewhat of an interesting game.

But if bama scores again, then this game is lame.

Since the 11:48 mark of 2nd quarter. OU has outscored Bama 34-17.

Tough to swallow after that nasty start.

OU covers. Bama wins. After that horrendous start, OU played their asses off.

Gee, what a shame the two best teams in college football are playing for the National Championship.

Too bad Lincoln Riley and his staff didn't have his team psyched up to play the game last night.
Can't say they weren't prepared because they sure played ok the last 3 quarters.

In other news, ND is is still 0fer winning major Bowl games this century. Very well may be the most overrated program in all of college sports.

Lincoln Riley coached that second half like David Beaty. Kicking a field goal when he was inside Alabama's 10, then multiple times kicking the extra point instead of going for two to get the lead down to 10. I would have been furious if I was an OU fan.

Yeah they still would have lost because their defense couldn't get a stop when they really needed one. But it feels like Riley didn't make the most of the chances he actually did get.

Kyler Murray should play baseball; pretty small dude IMHO. Flutie sized. I wonder if Mahomes envy might cause him to pass on the frankly better money and career trajectory?

You're the guy who felt the need to post,"Bama V Clemson. Ad nauseam" - and I'm a tool for my response?
Terrific.
I'm looking forward to the game.
Heck, I'm looking forward to the San Diego County Credit Union Holiday Bowl, the PlayStation Fiesta Bowl, and the Rose Bowl Game Presented by Northwestern Mutual, too.
