Sadly yes. With this team we move better offensively with Mitch in.

My favorite lineup (haven't seen it yet) would be Remy Och CB Wilson Mitch.

If Dave wasn't so emotionally fragile, I'd say start Mitch from here on out until Dave can start playing to his abilities.

Last year this team needed to have Dave be good because outside of Och there wasn’t a whole lot of options. This year not so much and while it is early Self is right. This team is better with him on the bench because he is player in a bygone era. Back to the basket, isolated bigs are few and far in between and Dave isn’t even that good of one. IMO he is still the same clunky, unathletic Dave from last year.

McCormack, Harris, Pettiford, JCL and Yesufu combined for:

60 minutes, 1-11 fg, 3 pts, 5 reb, 4 assists, 4 turnovers and 8 fouls.

Self hasn’t figured out how to use Yesufu yet…

Dave is going to lose minutes if he doesn’t produce. Take today’s game and Self’s comments for example.

Harris is probably going to be the starter heading to the bench when Self goes with Jalen. The kid is good, but he doesn’t do much in terms of stats. Zero threat offensively this season. Somehow worse than last year. That and Martin seems to operate better when he has another shooter alongside him.
