If it wasn’t a Self designed play, it was Dave just getting it cuz everybody else was yet again just standing around, and I dunno which is worse.

I'm a frequent Dave apologist. But that play midway through the second where he caught the ball under the basket, then moved away and let the defender get on position just about made my head explode.

Man, how much do expectations change if this is who Dave and Jalen are going to be most of the year? Like I said earlier, most people thought going into this year KU would have the best versions of both from last year.

We were 4/19 from deep, 9/20 from the line, and lost by 1 on a ridiculous buzzer beater.

Jalen didn't play 1 second at the 5 this game.

It was all Mitch Dave and maybe a little Clemence iirc.

We played everyone in the first half and were up 10.

So why stick with only 7 guys when they're the ones who blew the lead?

The fact that self couldn't come up with a decent lineup for most of the second half is troubling.

He definitely slammed into the dude on purpose trying to create space because he was spazzing....but not one i expect to be called very often in that situation....but Dave whines at the refs all game whenever he stumbles and falls over or misses a bunny so that's the kind of calls he gets.

It sure was. An elbow to the chest with an arm extension is as textbook as it comes to a post offensive foul.
