Kansas Football 2021 Season

KU has 68 players on the roster that are freshmen or sophomores. Is that legit? I wish I knew all the rules but supposedly only allowed 25 a year. 68 is 18 more than we should have. We had 19 IC's plus 13 transfers last year so kinda hard to get grasp on this. One thing is for sure only 85 scholarships which because of covid was not enforced this year. It use to be if you transferred you had to sit out one year. That is no longer the case you get one free transfer and can immediately play. The portal has been evolving but I think this year it blows up. There two seasons to the portal. Now and another one after spring ball when athletes realize their future maybe better somewhere else. Last year Jameson Williams WR from OSU hit portal in April and in May was in Alabama and now probably #1 WR in draft.

Thinking this off season going to be wild. ALGIO really good at this. We just got our 6th commit a juco lb.

That number includes walk-ons. Walk-ons don't count in that 25 per year limit.
