Not the best effort in the 2nd half. Top to bottom…

Team still improved tremendously. No shame in the result of this game. Team beat up quite a bit to end it

Huge play by Daniels there. Love to see these guys fighting to the bitter end.

You have to be cautiously optimistic with the way this season ended. Fought to the biter end.

I'm definitely encouraged. Won 2 games and was competitive in 3 others (OU, TCU and WVU). Also had a halftime lead at Duke.

Got screwed in the OU game.
I like the finish.
Goal is four plus wins next season.

Spend the offseason learning to tackle, learning to kick and upgrading their lines and KU could be markedly better next season. Nice to see them competitive from 3 straight weeks. Been awhile.

KU wins the last 2 weeks with a healthy Devin Neal.

Anyone know for sure how the whole super senior thing works for next season. Do we have players on the roster who are listed as Senior, or Redshirt Senior who can come back and play next season?

This year because of last year not counting they did not limit the total scholarships. Next year you have to be 85 or less. So this year anybody who wanted to stay was an easy decision. Next year they would be taking some else spot. I know WR Lassiter DE Johnson and LB Betts are all super seniors. I think DL Burt is Super Senior but is going to RS this year and coming back.

This should be the list that is done.

• Nate Betts, LB, Kerens, Texas

• Malik Clark, OL, New Orleans

• Nick Channel, LB, Wichita

• Jay Dineen, LB, Lawrence

• Miles Fallin, QB, Canyon Country, Calif.

• Joey Gilbertson, OL, Wichita

• Chris Hughes, OL, Harker Heights, Texas

• Kyron Johnson, DE, Arlington, Texas

• Miles Kendrick, QB, Morgan Hill, Calif.

• Jamahl Horne, WR, Miami, Fla.

• Kwamie Lassiter II, WR, Chandler, Ariz.

• Adagio Lopeti, OL, East Palo Alto, Calif.

• Ben Miles, FB, Baton Rouge, La.

• Ricky Thomas Jr., S, New Orleans

• Jeremy Webb, CB, East Mims, Fla.

So I looked into this a little more tonight and I think all players can take advantage of an extra year but will count against the 85 scholarship limit next season.

I think KU would welcome back these 6 players as Super Seniors

DE - Zion DeBose
DT - Eddie Wilson
DT - Ronald McGee
DT - Caleb Sampson
DT - Malcolm Lee
OL - Earl Bostick Jr.
