Well, if they did, they'd be fine with the government studying how this happens and what can be done to prevent tragedies like this from happening in in the future.

I’m sure it is being studied, but the anti-gun and pro-gun people will be disappointed with the outcome, because it won’t be a simple checklist. It will include Dopamine reward pathway abnormalities that stem from early and prolonged exposure to smartphones and tablets, loss of empathy from social media and video games, and lack of attentive parents, to name a few.
Why can't this be studied like vehicular deaths? Only one party opposes this. Any attempt at reducing gun deaths is met with a stone wall and slippery slope arguments.

Why do more kids want to shoot up schools in 2021 than they did in 1975?
If a similar amount of school shootings were occuring in 1975, but in 2021 they were far more deadly, then I would see your point.....but the problem is that 40 50 60 years ago it seems FAR less kids wanted to shoot up schools in the first place because they were rare occurrences.
All of your points are valid gun related issues. I just don't think they're the main cause for the astronomical increase in school shootings the last 25 years.
