What a stupid fucking assessment to make.
Please tell why it entered your half wit thinking spot
To say “deep, it’s bad parenting” while ignoring school pressures, peer pressure, psychological issues or social placement as a factor…. at the same time acting like gun access isn’t the major contributing factor makes you look dumber than most of your posts do

The argument from a position of authority. My fave. We know you're former law enforcement. Thanks for the reminder.
Still can't figure out how any of those things you listed stop the Oxford Michigan shooting being discussed.
It was done with a 9mm, purchased for the kid by his parents.
It starts with parenting.

However, you were throwing around stats from 1972, so please indulge me how those stats have anything to do with this situation?
Once again, your troll game is stronger than your knowledge of the scenario

I think I get it now.
Clearly this wouldn’t happen if the kid didn’t have access to parents.
Time to ban parents!

Why can't this be studied like vehicular deaths? Only one party opposes this. Any attempt at reducing gun deaths is met with a stone wall and slippery slope arguments.JKLivin wrote: ↑Sat Dec 04, 2021 8:09 pmI’m sure it is being studied, but the anti-gun and pro-gun people will be disappointed with the outcome, because it won’t be a simple checklist. Defense. Rebounds.

Why do more kids want to shoot up schools in 2021 than they did in 1975?Overlander wrote: ↑Sat Dec 04, 2021 9:15 pmHave you ever considered the increase in available round count per weapon?BasketballJayhawk wrote: ↑Sat Dec 04, 2021 9:10 pmI could only find civilian guns per capita stats for each year back to 1972.Overlander wrote: ↑Sat Dec 04, 2021 9:01 pm

If a similar amount of school shootings were occuring in 1975, but in 2021 they were far more deadly, then I would see your point.....but the problem is that 40 50 60 years ago it seems FAR less kids wanted to shoot up schools in the first place because they were rare occurrences.
All of your points are valid gun related issues. I just don't think they're the main cause for the astronomical increase in school shootings the last 25 years.
