Your back up has arrived Cascadia. Just the person you want on your side when shit hits the fan. Deputy Doofus at your service!
You guys are quite the odd couple.

I know it has been asked before.
Are you 9 years old?

Re: 2022 Recruiting
This guy is from KC (JoCo). We lost steam with him late.
I think Gradey Dick could be better in both the short and long term but Mitchell has been consistently ranked in the Top 10.

Re: 2022 Recruiting
I think we stopped recruiting him a month ago for whatever reason.
Hope its not that much a miss.
We have a solid class regardless.

Re: 2022 Recruiting
Mr. Dick moved up to #8 in the latest ESPN rankings...KU moves up to #4.
"Kansas closes gap in top five: Kansas went from No. 5 to No. 4, which isn't a huge jump, but it's noteworthy when it's that close to the top of the rankings. The Jayhawks didn't add any new pledges, but Gradey Dick boosted his stock over the past several weeks and pushed Bill Self's program a spot higher. Dick is a high-level shot-maker who can get his own looks in a variety of ways and also demonstrated this past weekend at Hoophall that he can impact a game even when his shot isn't falling."
"While Bill Self has built one of the best rosters in college basketball this season by conquering the transfer market, he once again has the Jayhawks recruiting the high school market at an elite national level. It began with a commitment from local Kansas product Gradey Dick last spring. Dick will provide them with a productive and reliable big wing who is proven against elite competition and well rounded with his floor game. M.J. Rice gives them a power wing with an improved skill level. He'll remind Jayhawk fans of Wayne Selden a little bit and provide an ideal complement to Dick on the wing. Zuby Ejiofor is a throwback-style power forward who could play some small-ball 5 in the modern game. He's powerful, explosive and ultra-aggressive with a high motor. The fourth piece to the puzzle was another frontcourt addition, with 6-foot-10 center Ernest Udeh picking the Jayhawks. The top-50 prospect plays with high energy and is excellent on the glass and at the rim in transition."

Re: 2022 Recruiting
Wow, Dick moving up to #8 is kind of a shock. Good for him/us

Re: 2022 Recruiting
I don't think it's a shock. He's been one of the best players on all the USA teams and looks better than his teammate Mark Mitchell who has been consensus top 10 his entire HS career.
He has very few holes in his game. It's hard to see us getting him for more than a year.
Re: 2022 Recruiting
Which is great. I guess the shock is because he's a white kid from Kansas who isn't committed to Duke or UNC.CrimsonNBlue wrote: ↑Wed Jan 19, 2022 9:08 amI don't think it's a shock. Re: 2022 Recruiting
What white kid from Kansas has gone to Duke or UNC..?

Re: 2022 Recruiting
Just meant that it's shocking that ESPN would rate a white kid from Kansas so high on their list. The only way I could see them doing that is if said white kid went to one of their favorite schools.

Yeah, in the spring of 2019, it was pretty clear that Christian Braun was way underrated.
Dick is getting the benefit of being at Sunrise Academy--who is ranked #1 in the country right now.

I love how Sunrise is #1 on ESPN and unranked on Maxpreps.CrimsonNBlue wrote: ↑Wed Jan 19, 2022 9:26 am Yeah, in the spring of 2019, it was pretty clear that Christian Braun was way underrated.
