Looks like Kentucky was hit pretty hard by tornados last night. 30+ tornados over 6 states, 250,000 plus without power and at least 50 dead.

Hope 99 and his are ok.

Just waking up this morning when I get a “snow squall” warning on my phone. Leave early for work with twice as much time as the drive normally takes. Then the weather goes nuts, zero visibility, several inches of wind blown snow on the roads in a matter of minutes. Now supposed to be windy all day. Hurricane force guests along the front range and shit

We have the fringe effects of that here in Center. A dusting of snow but winds were 50+ mph around 6:00 this morning.

Weather has been crazy. 70's today in KC in mid-December with 50+ mph wind gusts, then tomorrow the temps drop to the 40's. No precip in weeks.

Yeah, 72 here right now with winds expected to be 55-75 mph by 3pm today. Some school districts cancelled school today, others let out at 1:30. Ours is still in full day.

By tonight it is supposed to drop down to 29.

Geesh, I hope not, but it wouldn't surprise me. I'm just waiting for my power to go out after a transformer blows or a branch crushes an overhead power line.

Our power just blipped off for a few minutes. My wife just left to get our kid out of school early. Trying to get my work laptop logged back in so I can close everything down properly.
