There are always international players in lotto that aren't well known before draft night, but sometimes don't get love in the early mocks/projections.
Re: Draft Watch
If Braun keeps this up, he'll be drafted, no doubt.
Torn between wanting him to keep it up and having a senior Braun.
Rather the former but also wouldn't mind the latter.

Re: Draft Watch
If there’s a knock to his scouting report, it’s maybe that he hasn’t shown himself to be a great shooter. Still only at 34%. No better than where he was last year, though I expect it to go up.
His body control and footwork has been real good though. But does he project as a slasher in the league?

35%.
Round up.
He's also shooting 63% overall.

Re: Draft Watch
I highly doubt scouts are worried about his shooting.
Moving feet on defense, though.

Re: Draft Watch
I think it is much improved, though. The huge increase in blocked shots suggests he's not getting roasted as much.
Re: Draft Watch
So he’ll get draft buzz not as a shooter, but as a prospect who should develop a shot?
And yeah defense.
And while he’s a good athlete particularly at the D1 level, the nba is just full of freaks.

Re: Draft Watch
I definitely think he projects as a shooter. Consider his frosh percentage and then his career FT numbers. Good mechanics on the shot. He'll get a lot more space in the league. 2-guard with potential to play the 1.
Re: Draft Watch
I’m as high as anyone on Braun, but I just don’t think he has much of a future as an NBA 1, particularly considering how little he plays the 1 even at the college level.
I agree he projects as a shooter.

Re: Draft Watch
I agree with ous.
He doesn't have the skillset for an nba 1.

Re: Draft Watch
He's been a point guard most of his life, good ball handler and passer, but I don't disagree. 2 guard is the projection.
His best attribute is just being a great team player on offense (when he's making layups like this season). Watch him off the ball, he moves so well and always makes the right reads on cuts.
Re: Draft Watch
It just depends on what team he gets on.
Kevin Huerter is basically the back up PG for Trae Young and he's very similar to CB. Especially considering how early CB is his growth.
Re: Draft Watch
And, with his size, he should be able to credibly guard 1-3. It's a nice combination.CrimsonNBlue wrote: ↑Wed Dec 22, 2021 2:05 pmHe's been a point guard most of his life, good ball handler and passer, but I don't disagree. 2 guard is the projection.

Ous created this one a month ago . . .
Re: Draft Watch
Tempted to start another one yet.
Maybe even make it official, with caps lock and everything.
