And do you really think property is more valuable than human lives?
And this response is telling: “you invite people showing up with assault rifles.” You almost make it sound like Kyle went there looking for trouble.
He went there to defend property which should not have been under threat in the first place. Being upset and outraged is not justification for wanton destruction of property that does not belong to you.

So what businesses were spared from damage thanks to the valiant efforts of these brave, armed patriots? What is it exactly that they prevented? They seem to have provoked more problems than if they would not have been there.

100 businesses damaged
40 destroyed
$50 million in losses
“Tony Farhan watched a Facebook Live feed of his store being looted. Later, he said, the looters lit it on fire.
"It's not just my business; half my belongings were in there," Farhan said. "The kids' clothes, luggage, a lot of stuff in storage that was either looted or burned to the ground. This is so sad. This place meant a lot to me."
They went in because the police decided to just sit back and let the rioters wear themselves out. Not an option if it’s your stuff being burned and looted. If the Governor would have deployed the National Guard at the outset, nothing would have happened.
But, hey, people are more important than stuff, right?

Re: Violence
You’re the Christian bro.
Who cares about loved ones when you got material possessions, right?
But that info there, more than anything, seems like an argument to defund the police. There was burning and looting and they didn’t do a damn thing. Then there’s kids playing vigilante and literally shooting the place up, and they still didn’t do a damn thing.
So why even have ‘em?

Re: Violence
Another false dichotomy. The answer is to stop allowing the police to be run by people who are afraid of being accused of not being woke enough. The answer is to stop excusing barbaric behavior because of slavery in the 1800’s. The answer is to think rationally and act as if we still have a society to preserve.ousdahl wrote: ↑Thu Dec 23, 2021 4:21 pm You’re the Christian bro.

Bro the police aren’t run by people afraid of being accused of not being woke enough. Police are run by literal Ku Klux Klansmen.

A small aggrieved cross section of the population wants to know why the will of the majority of voters is allowed to make the rules in a democratic process. This self righteous desire for minority rule is the flailing mantra of the Republican party these days. If you can't stop them from voting against you, take your ball and go home.

Re: Violence
What % of cops are in the KKK? I can't find it in your article you found on google.
Re: Violence
To accurately get that metric, Merica would have to treat white supremacy as the actual threat it is, rather than just shrugging it off and LOLing about it, like you and psych.
Think of it this way: just one undercover dood found dozens of cops who were involved.
Imagine if we were able to candidly evaluate every facet of law enforcement.
And yeah while perhaps not EVERY cop is also a klansman, there’s still far too many. And even one is too many. And that’s the ones who are actively involved, not to mention the ones who are just as biased but don’t consciously own it.
it’s also likely that a lot more cops, even the “good” cops, are at least aware of this shit and don’t do or say a thing. They prob just laugh and shrug, like you guys.
And if it’s a matter of being actually in the KKK, or not in actually the KKK but ok with it anyway, is that really any better?
