Actually it is and the only ones who don’t get it are the stupid ones. The Federal response has been effective to the extent possible. However many States have been actively thwarting those efforts. So now any solutions that can happen have to happen at the State level - lead, follow or get out of the way as they say.

I kinda wonder what the pros and cons would be of the fed just big timing states that don’t play ball.

That would be the opposite of Federal leadership. That would be the Trumpian approach.

And yet, that’s the thing!

Here we are once again trying to distinguish between the Trump approach and the Biden approach.

I guess the biggest difference may be, Trump gave us more stimulus money?

Right. The core issue remains the same: the GOP wants to actively inhibit all governments from governing.

Huh? We're not. We're distinguishing between the Trump approach and the suggestion you gave, which has not been the Biden approach.

What I’m saying is, the Trump approach IS pretty much the Biden approach now too.

Not about everything.

But in terms of the pandemic, and of Biden campaigning on strong leadership from the federal down, to its a state’s things now, is sort of a flip flop, and reminiscent of the previous administration

I think Brandon, or whoever is telling him what to do these days - has figured out that blame distributed among fifty governors is better than all of it directed at one person. Politics 101.

It's a state thing and it's a federal thing. You're acting like those are mutually exclusive.

Who is telling Brandon what to do? Probably Chavez.
