Both sides do it?
Uncle Joe

I only came to kick some ass...

Re: Uncle Joe
Actually it is and the only ones who don’t get it are the stupid ones. The Federal response has been effective to the extent possible. However many States have been actively thwarting those efforts. So now any solutions that can happen have to happen at the State level - lead, follow or get out of the way as they say.
It’s really not that complicated, unless one can’t or doesn’t want to comprehend
Re: Uncle Joe
I kinda wonder what the pros and cons would be of the fed just big timing states that don’t play ball.
Re: Uncle Joe
Sharp as a tack, that man. You know . . . the thing.

Re: Uncle Joe
And yet, that’s the thing!
Here we are once again trying to distinguish between the Trump approach and the Biden approach.
I guess the biggest difference may be, Trump gave us more stimulus money?

Re: Uncle Joe
Right. The core issue remains the same: the GOP wants to actively inhibit all governments from governing.zsn wrote: ↑Tue Dec 28, 2021 1:10 pmActually it is and the only ones who don’t get it are the stupid ones. Re: Uncle Joe
Huh? We're not. We're distinguishing between the Trump approach and the suggestion you gave, which has not been the Biden approach.
Re: Uncle Joe
What I’m saying is, the Trump approach IS pretty much the Biden approach now too.
Re: Uncle Joe
Not about everything.
But in terms of the pandemic, and of Biden campaigning on strong leadership from the federal down, to its a state’s things now, is sort of a flip flop, and reminiscent of the previous administration

Re: Uncle Joe
I think Brandon, or whoever is telling him what to do these days - has figured out that blame distributed among fifty governors is better than all of it directed at one person. Politics 101.

Re: Uncle Joe
It's a state thing and it's a federal thing. You're acting like those are mutually exclusive.
Re: Uncle Joe
Who is telling Brandon what to do? Probably Chavez.
