I hate interior painting. I’ve been putting off re-painting my living room for several years. Finally tackled it. Only took 2.5 days…lol. So much cutting in involved, that’s why I put it off, but it’s done, besides some touch up work.
6 windows, 2 doors, a stone fireplace, built in shelving, baseboards, crown molding, plus very textured plaster. Exhausting and frustrating. Went from a tanish color to light French grey to match the dining room. Makes the white molding really pop. Glad it’s almost done, still need to rehang some prints and stuff, but that can be done tomorrow.

Yeah same here. I hate hiring out projects I can do even though I despise doing it. When it comes to plumbing or electrical, I let the pros handle it. But I will install a new light fixture or change out outlets, that’s all pretty easy stuff.

I laughed at this because I became a Grand Uncle (for the 5th time) yesterday - and when I was sent a pic of my Grand Niece I was shocked at how she in no way looks like a day old baby to me. She looks like she's about a month old.
