IMO, Baylor is nowhere near the favorite to win the title despite what looks like a multi-week ranking at #1. MGM agrees:

Gonzaga +500
Duke +750
Purdue +800
Kansas +1100
Baylor +1200
UCLA +1600
Arizona +2000
Texas +2200
Villanova +2500
Alabama +2500
Illinois +2500
Kentucky +2500
Houston +2500

I took us at +1400 right before Thanksgiving.


Arizona is the best value right now imo.

Auburn has looked impressive in spurts too, but I don't bet against KU.

re UA, I don't see a first year ever head coach making the Final Four, but I'm sure it has happened at least once before.

Texas and Illinois probably start figuring things out.

Baylor has some gadget defenses that usually get figured out. There are some teams out there like SFA and Dayton that may have a long run too. Not a bad bet given what we know will be a see-saw season.
