I see more republican stuff and trump stuff posted here than I do anywhere on the news. If you stop seeking out things you dont like, your stress and anger levels will lessen and your outlook on life will improve. Focus on things in your own life, your own community and your immediate needs and concerns. People must be incredibly bored to go proactively search out things from afar to stoke the flames of anger.

But, geez, I dont know how yall have time to spend to go find this stuff and then go to the effort of posting it here so frequently. And it’s a bummer that it seems those most likely to be radicalized by the algorithm, are also those least likely to recognize it.

And - I know you guys will call me out if so, and maybe even if not, but - is it fair to suggest social media algorithms are better at radicalizing far righties than far lefties?

Well, that prompts some another things:

Leftists should not be confused with liberals, though they often are.

And leftists are far from homogenous. Much less so than it may be among far righties.

So while there may certainly be divisive types who wanna deny care on some tit-for-tat partisan grounds, I’d guess the majority of leftists would be opposed to denial of care. It’s pretty ideologically at odds with leftism.

Mind, much of leftism is rooted in some basic sense of humanity and compassion, much more so than really any other mainstream political ideology.

I think there is ample evidence that people being susceptible to misinformation isn't a 1 party issue.
