My first guess had two correct letters in the wrong position. I’m guessing that’s pretty lucky

Yeah, if you’re careful to get vowels out there early and never repeat a letter, you’ll do very well.

Within the first two guesses you can usually nail down the vowels. Then it’s relatively straightforward

Feeling that 2 tries is nearly pure luck. 3 tries takes a good amount of luck. 4 has to start being pretty common.

I think it’s almost like the initial 2048. Copycats came out of the woodwork. It’s quite mechanical now. I rarely miss getting 4096. Never gotten to 8192.
