"stats dont always mean much. most of the shots he missed were make able. he gets a little more comfortable out there and they are going down."

OK.
I am very much looking forward to that.

I was not able to watch WVU game, and given what looks like a lot of argument here afterwards, maybe a good one to miss.

Anyway, if Dave is really going to do this one good game then one bad game pattern, can you really say he is inconsistent?

consistently inconsistent
Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

If he was capable of 15pts 15rebs every night he'd already be in the NBA.

What's most frustrating is that his minutes are down from last year. We absolutely need him closer to 25mpg than 15mpg.

We need to get him to 2 good games, 1 bad game.
Then 3 good games, 1 bad game.
And so on.

Our frontcourt depth will be better.
I didn't realize how old this thread was. Pretty smart poster! ;)

This plan worked out better than I thought, but I think you have to give a ton of credit to Ramsey Nijem because Och and CB are just different effin' dudes physically.

If they win, they're "ultra competitive". If they lose, they're "selfish".
Sports fans...
He was taking guarded, off balance 28-footers while the guys rolling off the picks were open.
Yeah... He needs to not do that because it'd be nice to have him as an option late in games.

Finally you've arrived. Welcome.

Although JCL will get run whenever we have foul trouble with CB Och or JW.

Bro it’s not like anyone predicted Remy off the bench until the last few games.

Have we had much foul trouble from our starting 2-4 tho? And is it more likely to be spelled by JCL, or Remy? Matchup dependent, maybe.

Or, maybe one big and one small off the bench seems like a Self rotation down the stretch

Yep rotation seems pretty set. Those 7 play the bulk of the minutes. Jcl getting a little time

Remy off the bench or Remy starting makes no difference really. He's in the rotation and when he plays well he will play a lot.

The arrival welcome was more to do with all your other takes and nothing to do with Remy. But you knew that.

I actually like it (the small rotation) now that JW is clicking. He plays well next to Dave. He also has a good feel for our other players.

Still, the biggest thing moving forward is making sure Dave plays 25min+ per night. He allows the rest of the rotation to tighten since CB and Och are interchangeable.

CB Och Dave and JW can all get 20. That really allows DH to just do his thing and not force anything.

Now for a Good Dave post. Been saying all season that while he is a below average defensive rebounder, he is elite at offensive rebounding. And, I think that makes sense given his personality and athleticism. Didn't realize how elite, though.

This comment has nothing to do with Dave, but I wish offensive rebounding numbers like this would factor out rebounding your own miss.
