With the obligatory caveat that I am not a fan of +/-, it did match what it felt like tonight:

Remy +10
Harris -9

Due to minutes played, Harris probably has a good +/- overall.

Read entire thread. Good points made.

Probably play 2 bigs after KJs performance last night LOL let CB and JW initiate offense.

Slight sarcasm.

Trust in Self.
But it may be too far in the season for him to change his mind.
He thinks Harris is better than Remy.

Remy is better than dajuan and its not even close. Plus this team has wayyyyy more upside and room to improve as they continue to gel with Remy. There is no improvement curve in continuing to go with harris

Not to mention Remy gives this team a whole other dimension. Playmaking. Surely self saw that when we were building our lead against tech

It's closer than we think as Dejuan is better on defense.

Self values that.

You really don't think DH has improved from last year?

In this case, the problem that led to the first overtime was scoring. We scored 5 points in the last 6:40 after Remy went out.

This.

But there are plenty of minutes for both guys. We need both. Both provide very different things.

DH had a crucial deflection/steal in crunch time. He also had a crucial assist to Och to tie the game with 10sec left.

Both have strengths. Both have weaknesses.

Remy is not nearly as good as expected. There is really no way around that. But he's better than he's shown most of the season. If he can continue to play like he did last night he will get plenty of minutes. Him getting assists and drawing charges is what we need far more than him hunting his own shot.

I think we should be trying to get Och 20+ shots every single game. Every possession he should get a touch in a position to score.

Play Remy more. Self isn't a lunatic.

I wish Remy would have played more down the stretch but I was thrilled with the run he got in this new 6th man role.and I think it will aid KU long-term. It will be interesting to see how that expands.

He played KJ freaking Adams in important minutes last night. He doesn't have his mind made up one way and is so unrelenting that nothing will change it.

He likely just trusts Harris to run the plays that are called more during crunch time. Remy reverted right back to Hero Ball guy late in the KSU game. That had to be in Self's mind as well.

Dajuan’s defense is getting into overrated territory. A liability on both sides of the ball last night. Thinking he made some great play on Och’s game tying 3 last night is also hilarious.

It’s abundantly clear we need Remy and that has been that way for a couple of seasons. I’m still hopeful Bill knows that and figures it out.

Bill’s only been to 1-2 practices in the last 2 weeks. We usually get it all figured out in February. Remy’s reps and minutes continue to increase, but he should have had more run last night if he was available.
