I wonder if Aaron Rodgers takes his roster spot down in Tampa?

It makes a lot of sense. Culture fit and Rodgers sucks in the cold.

I wonder if Arians and Rodgers would work together.

When you beat virtually every QB over 22 seasons, it's not a single "era."

I understand it would have been a great storyline for your Mahomes to slay Brady on his way out when he was in his 40's, but he just couldn't do it.
Look, longevity and a good system are pretty much the reason. I give Gronk and the ex-Viking Moss some credit too. But the 00s were not great football QBs. I see more talent now than ever and I believe Mahomes has more to do with it than the system guy.

I'm honored.

But man, is he mad at the Pats.

Good point. Does Arians even coach again, though?

Absurd. I do agree that they help.

Nothing says “look at me” more than faux retirement announcements.

Sure seems like somebody got their cheerios pissed in by getting booted from the playoffs early, and couldn’t stand not being the object of everyone’s attention.

Fucking pathetic.

Tom knows they cheated in multiple ways when he was there. Sometimes, when he was studying stolen practice films, he would throw up a little in his mouth. Then he would spin his Tuck-rule ring and start to think about supermodels and tax evasion instead.

Surprised but not shocked Brady didn't mention the Pats.
What I am shocked at - and makes me feel he is a total piece of shit - is that he did NOT thank the Pats FANS.

Well, lookie here. Interesting thing is a few people are claiming he is going to sign a one day contract with the Pats so he can retire Pat and then there are other people claiming that's 100% false. My guess is only Brady, his agent, Kraft, and maybe a couple of other people know the real truth to that rumor.

So . . . is Brady actually done?

The retirement doesn't make all that much sense. He just had an MVP-caliber season--this is not a Manning/Favre situation. The only thing that matters at this point is legacy, and with the move to 17-game schedules, why wouldn't he want to ensure his all-time stats placements last even longer?

He might be done.... with Tampa.

Gronk is probably done, Godwin is probably out of there, they just had an All-Pro OL retire at 28. Leftwich probably isn't going to be there after this year.
