Hopefully he's happy, seems like kind of a step down.

Dude went from a Michigan commit to KU to Northern Iowa. It's been an interesting journey for him. But I feel like that's the right level. He had some good appearances for us but he just always looked too slow to be a Big 12 RB.

Did not know he was a one time Michigan commit. That's certainly interesting. Maybe he has found the right spot for him, wish him well.

I forgot. Did Michigan pull his schollie or did he de-commit on his own?

Michigan over-recruited and pulled his scholly.

Dom Williams was another recent top recruit who started at Kansas but ended at Northern Iowa. Almost led Northern Iowa to a win at Iowa State this year with another Kansas transfer, Quan Hampton.

Okay, that is what I thought. He never appeared to be a Michigan level ‘croot. Good for him for finding a landing spot and a chance at consistent playing time.

I don't know enough about the guy to offer any insight but a lot of people are praising this move.

I don't know anything about Panagos, but he will have a fairly experienced group to work with. This is one of the deepest and most experienced units on the team.

Seniors
Zion DeBose (6th year)
Sam Burt (6th)
Jelani Arnold (6th)
Eddie Wilson (5th)
Malcolm Lee (5th)
Caleb Sampson (5th)
Ronald McGee (5th)
Hayden Hatcher (5th)

Junior
Kevin Orange Jr
Jereme Robinson
Kenean Caldwell

Sophomore
Caleb Taylor

Freshman
D'Marion Alexander
Tommy Dunn Jr
D.J. Withers

Is there a new rule with coaches on staffs?

You can have 10 coaches. 1 HC and 9 on-field assistants.

Leipold
Kotelnicki
Zebrowski
Wallace
Fuchs
Samuel
Borland
Peterson
Simpson
Onatolu are DL
That’s 10.

This coach makes 11.

Unless Onatolu is doing something different as his title on KU website is just assistant coach. No position tagged to him.

Newton, that is just the sort of fact-based fake post that causes people to believe their lying eyes.

This is a really good question. I thought all our on-field coaching slots were filled as well, then this news came out yesterday afternoon.

According to the LJW article, it's a total of 11 on-field coaches: 1 HC and 10 assistants. Guess that answers that.

With Kai Kunz committing, we need Brooks Pounders and Chris Colon to stand on either side of him on the sidelines in their Royals jerseys.

Thought the LJW was wrong.

Looks like we'll have some super senior help next year to balance out what is still an extremely young roster. That will be helpful especially along the defensive line.

"Those players include Sam Burt, Eddie Wilson, Hayden Hatcher, Ronald McGee, Caleb Sampson, Malcolm Lee, Takulve Williams, Zion DeBose, Earl Bostick Jr. and Jelani Arnold."

I had Hayden Hatcher listed as a Redshirt Senior. I’ve moved him and updated the original post.

I’m still only showing 84 scholarships with Casey as a walk on.

I also love that these 10 Super Seniors are 9 defensive lineman and 1 linebacker (former wr)

With decent coaching this unit should help keep KU in games and prevent other teams from scoring a lot of points.
