Still means the wall isn't the answer.

Not necessarily.
Yeah could help block the rising Rio from flooding southern Texas due to climate change!

You and I both know that illegal immigration (like much of life) is driven in large part by incentives, which is to say that people generally choose the option that offers the greatest chance for the greatest benefit.

A wall, in addition to other modifications to policy and personnel, would likely be more valuable as a symbol of negative incentives than as an literal immigration-halting protective barrier.

I would welcome to see any study quantifying your assumption.

What assumption, specifically.

Note that I didn't say the wall would be effective, just that it would be more effective as a disincentive than as an actual barrier.

Noted. As a barrier or a symbol it still is not the answer.

Probably not.

But the actual answer would be an immediate non-starter.

Why? They are still going to get paid, they'll just be further behind on their work.

This is a real complaint. Feds get paid next week and this will be the first pay check missed. Not sure what the hubbub is about right now about missed checks.

Let's hope those liberals and feminists out in California don't give them their own reality show.

Frankly it's sad to see how pathetic our elected officials are. Top to bottom. Very few exceptions.
