And the ducks just looked like such a longer team.

Dunno how KU manages to look small so often - especially last year, when we were otherwise top to bottom the biggest starting lineup we’d ever had
We just haven’t been very athletic in quite a while. Even those really good teams, not a lot of high end athletes.

When you objectively top Frank, it's hard to argue against being the best performance under Bill Self.

Dang, yea we really haven’t.

Many of our other lineups, like 2-3 thru 5 are all threats to finish a lob, and tends to happen on the reg.

Now, lobs seem a little fewer and further between

Och is showing more bounce this year. Finishing impossible lobs like he was earlier in his career.

I think people need to think about stuff like that when they bitch about him not going all out on defense. This is very 2012 T-Rob situation.

DMac would love it.
I think our lack of having a point guard that had to be defended and could shoot the past 2 seasons has really really hurt Dave's legacy here. Not saying some of that aint on him, but it doesn't help.

Imagine if he would've been in landens situation, with devonte and frank out there
Even a roster with Frank, Devonte and Josh Jackson couldn't drag Lucas to a Final Four.
Dont exclude Svi.
Though he wasnt senior Svi yet he was still pretty good that season.

And that Oregon team had pros on their roster. It wasn't some big time upset.

We started four future nba players ourself.

How is a 3 over a 1 not an upset?

I guess the semantics of “big time”

If we can use 2012 TRob as a metric, is Och competing with any unibrow type player this year who’s head and shoulders above the other POY candidates?

Wait which one’s tough to beat?

Cockburn?

Nah not really, unless you’re allergic to penicillin.

Except Och is a better ball handler.

What's interesting is that as Rush's 3pt attempts per game increased his 3pt shooting % went down....but as Och's 3pt attempts per game have increased so has his 3pt shooting %. That's impressive.

Och is a much better overall player than Rush. He doesn’t, though, have Rush’s frame. Rush could credibly guard 3s in the NBA. Not sure Och will be able to.

Brush was never featured or used like och though. Because of how deep and talented those teams he was on. Also you are comparing a senior och to brush who left early. Och hadn't developed his handle and level of dominance until this year

And the end of ochai's junior year, I dont think a single one of us would have tried to say he was better than rush. I remember thinking ochais handle wasn't very good. He busted his ass in the off-season and really came back an improved player ready to dominate college basketball
