Still wish OBJ would have chosen the Chiefs.

Still wish Reid would have done the same thing to Kelce on 2nd and goal at the five as the Rams did to Kupp.

Still wish Jones would have made the same plays that Donald made late.

Sigh.

All the plays the Rams made in the second half the Chiefs didn’t.

Stafford made plays. Kupp got open regardless of double teams and when it mattered the most the Rams best player made the play of the game.

rams’ D did what Chiefs’ couldn’t…specifically the sacks
Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

We woulda had a good chance that's for sure. Better than the Bengals because the Rams strength was a Bengal weakness.

Rams did have a nasty pass rush though.

I want my team to not throw games so badly. It should have been more exciting than checking their phone. I expect a team to read the script, then put all their effort into making believably bad plays.

Saw a tweet that was so true. Aaron Donald is what Chris Jones thinks he is, but without the production.

I hope I’m wrong but he is trending toward the Houston and Berry extension screw up level. Donald is generational. Worth every Penny. Jones, is not.

Yes, Patrick played like shit. He should have pulled the trigger on multiple occasions in the fourth quarter but I can’t erase the memory of Burrow escaping from Jones. That Bengals offensive line gave up nine sacks, one sack and then seven and half. Wonder who was the team in the middle. Pitiful.

Put Frank Clark and Spags in the blame game too.

The problem with Aaron Donald is that if you consider him to be Tier 1 than there are no Tier 2 DT’s in the NFL. That dude is significantly better than everyone else

Clark is a such a bum and became a huge waste of money. Dominated the Super Bowl run and then his production fell off a cliff. I see people saying he could restructure and stay in KC. Hell no. The sooner he and Hitch are off the books the better.

Yep. Part of the weird feel of last season was a lack of intensity on defense.

ODB, someone who the Chiefs might have been linked to, tore his ACL.
Now you have a guy who might not be back until December.
I'm sure he'll have to take a cheap short term deal somewhere.

Sucks for him because I believe he was playing himself into someone giving him decent money but now, like you mentioned he is right back to a ‘prove it’ type deal.
Oh well. Plenty of money in the bank and now has a ring. Maybe he hangs it up and does other things in fashion or entertainment.

It's his 2nd ACL tear.
It'll take a lot of work to come back but he's still under 30 so his career doesn't have to be over unless he wants it to be.

I thought Ol' Dirty Bastard was dead?

I kid, I kid. Yes, I was hoping that OBJ would sign with KC this offseason. Now, KC might have to look in another direction to solve their WR2 issues; JuJu being the most likely in my head.

The FA market for WR is not great. JuJu doesn't cut it for me as a fan. I think you have to acquire a guy or get lucky in the draft.

WR help is either JuJu or Allen Robinson unless they can get a trade done for Calvin Ridley. KC has a lot of cap space to get cleared first, though.

You could draft the Bama superstar and wait til he got healthy while taking a low cost flier on a guy like AJ Green.
