Re: We Lost the Battle for the Republican Party’s Soul Long Ago
the best part is that city, county, provincial and state health departments across the globe are all in cahoots to…do what, exactly? keep hospitals from being overrun and healthcare workers from dying?

Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

I saw a thing with Steve Bannon on it in the spring when the vaccines were first being administered and to great success (it was on tv at a relatives house)KUTradition wrote: ↑Tue Feb 15, 2022 3:28 pm the best part is that city, county, provincial and state health departments across the globe are all in cahoots to…do what, exactly? keep hospitals from being overrun and healthcare workers from dying?

He was complaining about how there were essentially zero scientists complaining about the vaccines, that they were all in getting their marching orders from the CDC...yeah, that's it, it's a global conspiracy involving countless pharmacists, physicians, nurses, PAs, research scientists, etc. it couldn't possibly be the more likely scenario that the vaccines worked and were very safe.
It's just like how there are no mathematicians pointing out that 5 + 5 does not equal 10. Must be a conspiracy, 5 + 5 can't possibly actually equal 10.
I'm still waiting to receive my CDC marching orders btw. I guess they got lost in the mail.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, I have received grants from the NIH, the NSF, USDA, and DoD and never, not once have any of them tried to influence my findings, suppress my results, or scew my research in ANY way.

Academics don't get paid for publications.
CDC and NIH employees are paid on the GS scale. They aren't making extra money.

Pfizer stock and profits at an all-time high. Hospitals get a kickback from the taxpayers for every COVID diagnosis and more if put on a ventilator.KUTradition wrote: ↑Tue Feb 15, 2022 7:56 pmso who is getting paid to give out free shots?JKLivin wrote: ↑Tue Feb 15, 2022 7:54 pmPeople and organizations repeat financially rewarded behavior. i’ll give you that pharma is profiting
but, hospitals would still be making more off of elective surgeries vs covid patients…ventilator or not

and what about the rest of the world, that doesn’t have the bloated healthcare system the US does?

Do you have any evidence of fraudulent reporting, or of people being put on ventilators who shouldn't have been?JKLivin wrote: ↑Tue Feb 15, 2022 10:28 pmPfizer stock and profits at an all-time high. and you still failed to address county and state health entities, or private practices, that don’t have in-patient care

Even then you have the corbevax group making cheap vaccines for developing countries using mostly private funding.KUTradition wrote: ↑Tue Feb 15, 2022 10:42 pm the only folks profiting are the vaccine manufacturers, which…god bless capitalism

Riddle me this Batman. Is Moderna "getting paid to give out free shots"?JKLivin wrote: ↑Tue Feb 15, 2022 10:28 pmPfizer stock and profits at an all-time high. Hospitals get a kickback from the taxpayers for every COVID diagnosis and more if put on a ventilator.
Now tell me/us about their stock history over the past 52 weeks.
I honestly don't know if hospitals get a "kickback" for every Covid diagnosis. I would assume the person would have to be admitted for that be true - but maybe not. Yes, they would get more if a person was put on a vent. You feel they shouldn't?
How do you feel about hospitals getting a "kickback" for cancer diagnosis and more for treatments?
Getting back to Pfizer and their stock price and profits.
Will you please tell me/us the names of the other companies that have stock prices and profits at an all time high - or is it just Pfizer?
