Bronny was going to get drafted higher than he "deserves" because he's LeBron's kid. Whether LeBron said what he said or not. It might be 4 years before he's even considering entering the NBA draft.

Scenario A: Bron pops his Achilles in the 2023-24 All Star Game (his twentieth!), retires.

Scenario B: Bron emerges unscathed from the 2023-24 All Star Game.

Unless you think Bronny's stock is the exact same in these two scenarios (which would make you stupid), then "[whether] LeBron said what he said or not" is horseshit (and of course you know it).

This seems conservative considering he averaged 30.1 over his career, including the Washington years.

I am sure Bronny will end up at Duke or UK for the reasons you suggested and others....but to think we shouldn't try to get him is silly. He's a good player. In a class with very few PGs/CGs available at a position we will likely have a need at.

The scouting report I have seen makes Bronny sound like a 4-year shooting guard in a point guard's body. Top 50-100ish. A lot of those type of players out there.
