LOL

i do not think Bronny goes to China instead of college.

It doesn't even make sense.

Would Lebron forego a year in the league to do it?

I suppose I could see it, especially once he draws the parallels between that an MJ’s stint in baseball.

What about college makes sense for someone in Bronny's shoes?

Sure. Makes more sense than college. But I haven't paid close attention - how have the really elite prospects done there? If Bronny really is more of a mid-tier guy (if he'd be ranked 21-50 if his name was Mike Smith), would he be competitive there?

College is a lot of fun? Especially as a famous star athlete?

Bronny doesn't "need" to make it in the NBA. He will have countless ways to earn a living. He's already set for life.

College makes a hell of a lot more sense than China. Life wise and basketball wise.

Yes, the risk of G League is the potential to get destroyed there. It's only getting better, too. Jalen Green was pretty good, but not great there. He's probably a top 5 rookie this season. LeBron has to know this, though.

If Bronny was Mike Smith, I would not expect him to be much more contributing than a freshman Bobby Pettiford--at least that's what the scouting report has him as.

No, college is probably the least sensible thing for Bronny to do, unless he doesn't want to play basketball for a living.

He doesn’t need the exposure that college affords compared to G league or overseas or creating his own prep team or heck even just sitting around for a year reminding everyone he’s Lebron’s kid.

College may even be a double edged sword in that regard.

Not for Bronny. His entire life is all about fun. Being at Duke or Kansas will be WAY more fun enjoyable and worthwile than g league or china.

Dumb.

If he's not good enough then he's not good enough.

Nobody goes from Remy Martin to Ja Morant by going to China out of HS.

So. Much. Dumb.

Yeah, that 1 mpg spelling Dajuan would do wonders for his draft resume.

He should be thinking more about his future than fun--at least he would be if he had way better parents!

Huh? I mean, these are all words, and some of them are proper nouns (basketball players names, a country).

But I'm not sure what they mean, arranged like this.

Ugh, is illy positioning himself to be a James family insider now? His meltdown began when the board wouldn't collective anoint him the defacto NBA expert.

Bronny wants to play in the NBA. If he's not good enough then he will do something else for a living. I think he will have plenty of lucrative job opportunities.

He's not going to be a Euroleague journeyman to earn a living. Unless he really wants to, which seems really unlikely.
