Trump just texted me. He’s laughing his ass off after pulling the wool over the eyes of the WH archivists. He swears there are probably twice as many documents he tore up that they never found. He also said those in charge of the National Archives can go fuck themselves.

fortunately, Jackson has already been through a number of confirmation hearings (one in the past year, if i’m not mistaken). i’m sure she’s well aware of what’s coming down the pipe
Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

I'm making popcorn for the portion of the proceedings where people who raised no objections to her appointment to the DC Circuit (by which time she was OBVIOUSLY on the D short list for SCOTUS) are all of the sudden "deeply troubled" by or "have real questions about" her candidacy for SCOTUS.

Watching the GOP try to pin some sort of disqualifying item on Jackson has been comical. She continues to deftly brush them off to the side like the irrelevant gnats they are. She seems to be eminently qualified and reasonable.
