I have to give you credit Illy, when you come back from your “time outs”, it sure doesn’t take you long to get back to full speed fucking up a message board.BasketballJayhawk wrote: ↑Tue Mar 01, 2022 8:25 am How come i never saw "you"/"they" point that out for unvaxxed dems or unvaxxed minorities who died?
And how are you "i told you so-ing" a dead perso. on a messageboard with 20 people? Hint: you're/they're not.

it's possible that there are no unvaxxed dems and minorities. and if there is, it's possible that none of them died of covid. or the whackjobs would have called them out.
i guess only unvaxxed white republicans died of the china fungus. what are the odds.

Re: We Lost the Battle for the Republican Party’s Soul Long Ago
Nice to see you swap "after spreading antivax bullshit" for "unvaxxed". The two things are dramatically different. This is the bullshit that you do that drives people crazy. I was specifically talking about vocal antivaxxers and stated as much in my post. I chose those words specifically and you moved the goalposts to make an entirely different argument.BasketballJayhawk wrote: ↑Tue Mar 01, 2022 8:25 am How come i never saw "you"/"they" point that out for unvaxxed dems or unvaxxed minorities who died?

Feel free to share a link to a Dem who is also a vocal antivaxxer and I will certainly treat them the same. My feelings about vocal antivaxxers are the not based on whether or not they support Dems or Republicans. They are all idiots regardless of who they vote for.
And I think you understand the concept of what I was saying so there really isn't a need for your last childish sentence at all.

Your reading comprehension skills may be even lower than Illy's. Congrats, that is an accomplishment I didn't think I would see happen.
Re: We Lost the Battle for the Republican Party’s Soul Long Ago
i'm well schooled at what you been laying down these 24 months. you can't walk it back now that the china fungus is over.
Re: We Lost the Battle for the Republican Party’s Soul Long Ago
Apparently not. I was not talking about unvaxxed people, nor have I poked any fun at simply "an unvaxxed person" for dying from covid. Feel free to provide a link to any post I have made that proves me wrong there.
I have made no attempt to walk back anything. The words I chose are posted right there for all to see. They are clear.

I didn't say YOU did those things, which is why i put "you" in quotes.
And look at my op...i didn't word swap, you did?
Re: We Lost the Battle for the Republican Party’s Soul Long Ago
Principle. To say Congress should be doing things that will have some kind of effect. But you can't do that with a bill like this because it will look like a dog whistle (understandably)... Unless you do what the US did when voting against the anti-Nazi thing at the UN where you vote but give an anti-bigotry statement to go with it.zsn wrote: ↑Tue Mar 01, 2022 1:12 amIf it’s not a difficult choice why not just vote on the virtue and get it out of the way? Is it because it goes against your bigotry and that of your constituents?Mjl wrote: ↑Mon Feb 28, 2022 10:27 pm Sigh. Fuck it, I'm with the three crazies on that one. Just to make a point. This is why we can't break up Microsoft and Google and Amazon, or do a hundred other things, because we're busy with virtue signaling bills?

it seems like if manchin were a pub and behaving in such ways, he’d be getting censured

I'm starting to wonder, are the trumpublicans watching what is going on in Russia/Ukraine and thinking, "holy shit, what if trump was president again?" Some buyer's remorse is starting to show on the faces of the grown ups in the party.
