I think we are starting to lose focus here.

Tax cuts are the way to fix things, regardless of the problem. If there is one thing we can say with certainty when we look back in our economic history, it is that tax cuts are the best solution for every problem. It works every time, so we should do it again.

Cascadia only has one focus. To display his superiority through calling others names.

He never actually comments on the discussion, or contributes to the discussion. He just pops in to call someone white trash, or exclaim that Q is a genius clown suit tailor, or tell others how stupid they are...all while being able to hide behind never actually taking a stance or making a comment to be critiqued.

it doesn't work for the people producing your food, or your foods food.

I'm 100% certain all the airplane travel you do for your job has a bigger carbon footprint than the truck I use to haul my tools, equipment and material locally.

heard an interesting take on the subject of oil and gas prices

apparently, the biggest obstacle to ramping up production isn’t raw supply or leases or any of the things that are talked about by politicians and most of the media…it’s profitability and dividends for investors and shareholders
Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

But lowering costs? He isn't thinking clearly. It's oil prices that are causing major inflation, and he wants to decrease energy production. A year or two the U.S. was energy independent and now we have to import oil because of his policies, (700,000 barrels or so from Russia)!

https://cnsnews.com/article/washington/ ... e-national

Cassidy noted that the Biden administration's policies may be increasing carbon pollution: "So now Germany's burning coal instead of natural gas. Not only are we getting more carbon intensity, but we're also putting our European allies at threat of economic downturn and allowing them to be leveraged by Russia."

The solution, Cassidy said, is to "resume using America's resources, ramping them up in order to provide or replace that which Russia would provide.
The oil stuff there is bogus.

We are the number 1 oil producing country in the world.
We never stopped importing oil.
We still export oil.
The Keystone pipeline was never operational and is being insanely overblown. In no way did that have anything to do with our energy independence.
I have never figured out how Trumpers feel that the Keystone XL project would have made the US energy independent by allowing them to import more oil from Canada.

OVer 60% of our crude oil comes from there. 1.3% from Russia.
