I’ll POTD this. Change the first sentence to the issue du jour and the last words to reflect that the message would be relevant every daytwocoach wrote: ↑Mon Feb 28, 2022 10:49 amIf it would have happened prior to Trump, the country would be unified in their demand for a swift response. Now we have a way-too-large section of our nation that is more concerned with finding the funniest "It's Biden's fault" meme to share in their social media echo chamber than they are about the freedom of 44+ million citizens of Ukraine.

Considering the circumstances of the email, any statement that does not include "fuck you" should be considered respectful.

what a goddamn miracle it is that he didn't fair and square his way into a second term.
yeah he got demolished in the popular vote, but the electoral college still came down to a few thousand in a few swing states.
but yea, all that would have been largely immaterial to him trying to then establish himself as tsar.

Remember, this is the same fuckwad who suggested raking the forest/s in California to prevent forest fires, should drop a water bomb (?) on Notre Dame Cathedral to put out the fire, nuke a hurricane (while altering the weather chart with a Sharpie), George Washington’s Continental Army “took over airports” during the Revolutionary War, windmills cause cancer, "I see the disinfectant, where it knocks it out in a minute. One minute. And is there a way we can do something like that, by injection inside or almost a cleaning", stared at the sun during a solar eclipse, saluted a North Korean General, basically claimed he is a genius because he could repeat 5 words, etc., etc. etc.

This framing grossly overstates the idea that the election was close. It wasn't, really. And that is despite the fact that certain state-level individual results were artificially close as a result of the right's successes over the last 20 years in gerrymandering and vote suppression.Qusdahl wrote: ↑Mon Mar 07, 2022 8:25 am what a goddamn miracle it is that he didn't fair and square his way into a second term.

Unlikeable, sure. But also it hurt her candidacy some that, you know, Putin tipped the scales to put his useful idiot in the big chair.
Re: Dumbfuck in charge
hc being hc hurt her candidacy. she is so hc that dt seemed the better option.

Just goes to show the impact of Russian troll farms choosing an anti-Clinton propaganda campaign. It convinced a lot of people that things that were not true were true.
Re: Dumbfuck in charge
I doubt many people switched over to vote for Trump who would normally have voted Dem but didn't like Clinton. It seems like many Dems (a significant chunk of whom were Bernie supporters negatively affected by Russia's hacking of the DNC servers) just chose to sit out rather than voter for Clinton.
