Just to be clear, the party who refused vaccines because they don't want the government to tell them what to put in their bodies. Are now the party supporting government control of what people put in their bodies.

got it.

The whole personal freedoms thing used to be an appealing part of the republican party. The give me liberty or give me death way of thinking. Then you find out that's just a facade and something they only pretend to believe when there's something they just don't want to do. As long as it's something they don't agree with, their political philosophy goes out the window.

They should say, we don't want the government interfering in peoples lives as long as people live the way we want them to.

What a crock of shit.
Yes. Things like “personal freedoms” and “home rule” and so on are entirely fig leaves, sound bites. Tools to get just enough people to vote R so as to enable them to pursue their true ideological, minority rule aims.

Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

No better way to support and uplift women than by grabbing 'em by the pussies.

You can just say whatever you want now. There's no need for proof.

The number of interviews I've seen where someone simultaneously claims Trump is still the seated president AND blames Biden for the economy is so high it stopped being funny. If simultaneously believing two completely contradictory things is no longer an issue, believing something that is just a complete lie, is no problem.

well I mean, that doesn't seem totally out of line if true?

I'd think we'd prefer those labs (if any of this is accurate) not be destroyed and potentially release various pathogens no?
