That does seem odd, but this is the worst time of year to visit Seattle (weather wise). Queen Anne, Capital Hill and West Seattle are the hot spots. I personally like West Seattle the best. However, the West Seattle Bridge is still closed so avoid trying to get to West Seattle during rush hour. Total fucking nightmare.
I'm sure you already know this, but Bellevue sucks.
