I wouldn't want to be the 1 seed in Philly with Nova.
As far as Purdue, I actually think we match up well with them.
Watched them at home v Indiana before our game and they didn't look scary - they aren't a good defensive team.

Let's play a quick round of Would You Rather? as it pertains to the conference tournament results then.

Would rather KU wind up as a #2 seed in somewhere closer to Lawrence, most likely Chicago

or

Would rather KU cement their case as #1 seed and wind up in Philadelphia, but potentially get the easiest #4 seed with Providence, who would be in the 30s in Kenpom while the other #4 seeds would be in the 16-20 range?

Latter, no question. Geography is overrated to me in the tourney unless they are going to put us in Kansas City for every single game. The 7-seeds and 3-seeds can pick us off very easily. Who wants any part of Purdue as a 3-seed?

I generally agree on geography, but I'd add that geography can absolutely hurt you if you're higher (better) seed playing on a worse team's home turf.

Oklahoma is not getting in without winning the Big 12 tournament. They are 3-11 in Quad 1 games and have a Quad 3 loss.

Clearly, we plan to just play him through it. That's fine if that's what the docs say. But, if we are going to do that, then I am honestly sick of Bill bringing it up at every presser. Just sounds like excuse making.
