In fairness, that was before Sherron was in shape. Ouch.
Re: FUCK ESPN
We had two wins over Louisville that year (the eventual NC; and two losses to Dook!). I also saw that second win, at AFH, which was an incredible game. Dreiling picked three fouls in under a minute and then played the entire second half (I think) and went beast mode.
Re: FUCK ESPN
Yeah, the VCU game was awful because of how close it was to the Final Four. But they doubled us up at one point in the first half so the loss was a bit easier to take even though we made it close in the second half. That Trey Burke shot in Dallas is the biggest gut punch I've seen in person and it's not particularly close.NewtonHawk11 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 09, 2022 12:49 pmI was going to drive down to Dallas for that game. Uncle lived in the area and was going to stay with home. Decided to stay home last minute. So glad I did. I would have been gutted for that drive back.hasbeen wrote: ↑Wed Mar 09, 2022 10:17 amVCU in San AntonioCrimsonNBlue wrote: ↑Wed Mar 09, 2022 9:36 am Random losses outside of AFH I remember being at: Syracuse, Temple, Washington in KC; Michigan State in Atlanta.
