Re: March Madness 2022
KU women are an 8 seed. Cool
Re: March Madness 2022
Was going to ask who has the keys to this.
Re: March Madness 2022
Filled out my first bracket this morning. I have no confidence in us to do anything in the final four, but gosh this was a gift of a bracket.

Re: March Madness 2022
Sum of the kenpom ranking of the top 4 seeds in each bracket:
East: 30
South: 37
West: 42
Midwest: 99
Kansas got by far the toughest 5 seed but our 2, 3 and 4 are not challenging.

Re: March Madness 2022
Auburn is very inconsistent, but when they're on they are very good.
Re: March Madness 2022
I would say that about every team below Arizona on the seed listing.BasketballJayhawk wrote: ↑Mon Mar 14, 2022 7:50 am Auburn is very inconsistent, but when they're on they are very good.

(I think you'd have seen it in Gonzaga and Arizona, too, had they each played a big-kid-table schedule.)twocoach wrote: ↑Mon Mar 14, 2022 8:04 amI would say that about every team below Arizona on the seed listing.BasketballJayhawk wrote: ↑Mon Mar 14, 2022 7:50 am Auburn is very inconsistent, but when they're on they are very good.

Or if they played in a time zone where I watched their games quasi-regularly.jfish26 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 14, 2022 8:14 am(I think you'd have seen it in Gonzaga and Arizona, too, had they each played a big-kid-table schedule.)twocoach wrote: ↑Mon Mar 14, 2022 8:04 amI would say that about every team below Arizona on the seed listing.BasketballJayhawk wrote: ↑Mon Mar 14, 2022 7:50 am Auburn is very inconsistent, but when they're on they are very good.

Re: March Madness 2022
After seeing the brackets, I certainly feel better about Kansas' chances to advance than I did a week ago. Lots of talking heads picking Iowa to advance to the Final Four in the Midwest but I don't think they should get more credit for a hot conference tourney week than Kansas does. KU played every bit as well as Iowa did in their last 3 games.
Re: March Madness 2022
ikr, i mean what is the point of doing a bracket here when everyone except Illy picks the same champion...
Re: March Madness 2022
I'm on site again so can't set up anything now but will try tonight.

Iowa is good! About what you should expect to see in the Sweet Sixteen if you're the third #1.twocoach wrote: ↑Mon Mar 14, 2022 8:41 am After seeing the brackets, I certainly feel better about Kansas' chances to advance than I did a week ago. Oddly, I think Baylor (the 1-4) got the softest 4/5 line.

UCLA beats Baylor if it comes to that game. But St Mary’s is an extremely weak 5 seed.jfish26 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 14, 2022 8:56 amIowa is good!
