Both Central Provisions and Eventide are really good but not fancy. I was surprised at how unfancy the restaurants in Portland are. Was looking for that and ended up at Scales. Really good, not fancy.

There really aren't many restaurants here in Portland with a dress code.
I guess in this instance, by fancy I mean higher end, very professional, with well decorated interiors.

Anybody eaten dinner at Cerberus Brewing in the Springs? The menu looks great and Defix said growlers of their Motivational Speaker IPA appeared in the Empire this weekend, he gave it two thumbs up.

Our new neighbor/friend in the Empire is a buddy of one of the owners of Cerberus, so I think growlers of their beer are going to be a regular feature of weekends this summer in the Empire. There is a plan afoot to get someone from Cerberus out to the Empire to look around at some point this summer.
