I'm gonna use the word willy nilly here but I don't think offensive players should be able to attack the basket willy nilly with no regard of who is in the way.

It shouldn't matter if you're another player who wasn't originally guarding the guy - if he rams into you and you're just standing there, it should be a foul, on him.

You could still have a player control foul.

It's like the charge circle, you can't punch someone in the face (unless your will smith) just because you're inside the circle. It negates a standard charge...but not a kung fu kick.

Also, I want to hate Jay Wright, but he's too nice, I just can't. I haven't found a coach that has shown more respect in a seemingly sincere way then what Jay Wright has shown over the last 15 years.

Gillespie is a guy that’s easy to hate when he plays for the other team

personally, i like his game and that he lets it do the talking for him. in the little bit of ‘nova i watched this year, he always seemed so workman-like…never getting too emotional, overly celebrating, or talking shit

Took the day off because I am exhausted. Beyond yard work, rewatched the Magic/Bird 1979 final. Yow. Surprised by how badly played it was save for a couple of plays by Magic. KU had the makings of a great team but a coach who was still in 1971.

One, I don’t like his face and two, he always throws his shoulders into the defenders and I feel like he never gets called for anything, but look at him wrong, and he’s shooting free throws.
