Honestly one of my favorite pho places in Austin, top two. It's not often I find a place in Austin where I find myself coming back to over and over again, but Pho Please is so easy, cheap, and good that I've yet to be disappointed.
The menu is rather simple and straightforward, the emphasis is on pho but there are other delicious options. I've had the spring rolls, which are great, baos are delicious, and I never pass up the Vietnamese coffee, but for me the main prize is the pho. For pho you have various meat options, poultry, vegetarian, etc. I've had several different flank combinations and the chicken, my girlfriend's had the vegan one. Every time, the broth was rich and delicious, and the vegetables fresh. Can't say I've had much better in Austin, and I've tried just about all of them.
Besides the food, the high point for me is the service. While it's not full-service, they make up for it with friendliness and speed. Food comes out fast, tables are bused fast. What more can you ask for? Everyone is always friendly, no matter how busy they get. Mayson's worth his weight in gold. Can't wait til my next trip--getting hungry just writing this..
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
Very hard to beat this place on price or quality. Service is great. The pho's great but try the bao and spring rolls!

And Shaka Dumb is 0 fer at least 6 v Self while he's been at Texas.
Re: Texas Pho
Do you think he even gets how bad that makes him look, that he has nothing from the past decade, including the last 4 years where he's been at a Big12 school, to cite to answer that question?
But kudos to him for getting his shot in.

Re: Texas Pho
I doubt I'll be able to watch much (I'll fall asleep during the first half) as it doesn't start here until 9 PM. I'm already tired after waking up at 6:00 am. Ughh; I hate late games!
Re: Texas Pho
Starting to think his 2011 was a flash in the pan. Nothing personal against him, but he hasn't done better than Barnes.
Re: Texas Pho
I'm central time zone and I hate 8pm games. I stay awake, but then I'm wound up after and can't fall asleep until way later than usual....on regular non game nights I'm asleep by 9ish a lot of the time.3rdGenJayhawk wrote: ↑Mon Jan 14, 2019 7:19 pm I doubt I'll be able to watch much (I'll fall asleep during the first half) as it doesn't start here until 9 PM.
