Start his career overseas I’d think.
I know you don’t like to go anywhere but Michigan but there’s a lot of world out there.

Given the current state of the front court, I wouldn't be upset if Bill gave Johni Broome a call.

I want CB to come back, but he needs to strike while the iron is hot, plus, I think he'll impress a lot of NBA folks during the Combine...he could be one of those players who gets a buzz about him going and ends up getting drafted higher than initially anticipated.

Wilson should come back and work on his outside shot and attempt to develop more explosiveness.

I would take a healthy Super Senior Dave over any other option, even if that means KJ or Clemence leaves.

Harris
Yesufu
Dick
KJ
Clemence

Rice and either Pettiford or Cuffe off bench on perimeter.
Martin or Udeh off bench in front court.

If I had to put money on it I would guess Yesufu is gone and Bill will pick up a combo guard from the portal.
Here's the problem some of these guys are going to run into now after the transfer portal has been around a year. If Yesufu leaves, he has to sit out a year now. It's not a permanent open market: You only get one free transfer and he used his to come to Kansas.

I think the tournament sealed the deal on CB certainly being drafted and has a great chance at first round.

The thing that is going to stick out to scouts is his intensity and competitiveness. The daggers against Nova and his sheer ruthlessness in the 2nd half last night are among the most competitive moments we've seen. Add in the shittalking, which I think shows big time confidence, and that seems like something people are starting to like in players.

Yeah, I did think about that in regards to Yesufu, but he still has 2-3 seasons left to play and the NCAA is granting a ton of waivers these days.

I didn't know Braun was considered a first rounder. I hope he does get drafted and make a great career for himself. He might as well leave because the rest of "his team" is leaving.

you think Yes is gonna beat out Rice?
Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

Not for nothing, it would sure seem like Braun is the sort of guy who would be in line for the most lucrative NIL deals. Champion, prominent program, big attitude.

Not if he plays like he did a majority of this season.

No. I think they are competing for different positions. Yesefu is competing with dajuan, Kyle cuffe, and pettiford. For the 2 primary ball handler guard spots

i don’t think Self is necessarily wedded to two smalls

if Dick or Rice can handle the ball AT ALL, i’d think they’ll both be on the floor

We could very well see a lot of:

Dajuan
Yesefu
Rice
Dick
Adams/clemence

Depending on who plays well together and earns selfs trust

Hes not. But self went with dajuan and Remy a lotttt. Same situation. I wouldn't lock 2 freshman into the starting line up before they get here. Rice is a raw prospect

Kelly oubre was a similarly ranked g/f prospect to dick or Rice when he got to Kansas. He barely got on the floor the first month or 2. Be patient. Im willing to bet we start the season with dajuan and yesefu. Experienced players that know selfs system already
