With NIL, you can now have this with players that are coming back next season.

Have a family event. Seriously considering canceling that to do this. CB, Juan, Och, Dave and Jalen is an awesome group to have.

Hint to your wife that the VIP + Dinner ticket can be an early birthday/holiday gift.

CB in a Q&A at a non-KU Athletics sanctioned event? Yes, please.

I'll be that guy - if I'm Och, I'm not playing in anything like this. Too much to lose right now.

If I'm Och's agent, I am much more OK with him playing in this thing than the combine.

I'd think hard about not playing the combine--it hurt his stock last summer and much bigger injury risk.

I'd suspect the insurance outlook is different, though.

ousdahl wrote: Thu Apr 07, 2022 10:42 pm Actually, no, still could put down another serving, with a side of dirty rice this time. I want Haunkey Taunk as a senior torching nets. Hell, if he can display legit sniper skills I wouldn’t even care if he brings back the damn bow and arrow.

And as for his nba prospects, I think the point about the long ball stands.
Sure, I want Braun to return as well. I would be surprised if he does but I was surprised by our tourney results this year so anything is possible I suppose.

And I don't really know what your point about the three is specifically. Could it be better? Yes. Could he look to shoot it more frequently? Sure. But let's say that he comes back next year and improves both of those things and then gets drafted. That means an NBA team is not going to benefit from those skills for 2 more years. Is that any different than if he went to the NBA and improved those skills next season? He does other things well enough that he could stick on an NBA roster.

The last thing I said about him before I changed my sig and bit my tongue was something like, I’m just not sure this team will contend with CB as any more than the 3rd or 4th best option.

That point stands.

And I’m grateful for him! He was a great 3rd or 4th best option to have on this team.

(5th best crimscore in the tourney but let’s still call him 3rd or 4th best, right?)

Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

If you had to pick only 1 to return next year, would you rather CB or Jalen?

Cuz I honestly might say CB

Braun 100%. I think he's got a lot of ceiling left.
