if only we could all be as good of fans as illy

all would be right with the world
Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

These are wild guess projections at this point. Guys haven't been measured or interviewed yet, let alone gone through workouts or combine.

And I have trouble trusting any projection that has almost no international players considering how many seem to go lotto every year.

Yeah, something seems off with those rankings. Don't think I've ever seen Ivey at 1.

A lot of "Jaden Ivey is the next Ja Morant" takes going around ESPN/NBA TV lately.

Right, and maybe he is. Seems obvious why people fall in love with that comparison right now.

But, those types of prospects miss way more often than they hit. And then you have to consider that Smith, Holmgren, and Banchero are right there to take.

As for Och, I'd have no problem taking him Top 10. He's ready to go right now.

Higher floor than a lot of those guys, even if he has a lower ceiling.

Going back through the drafts and a lot of those "high ceiling" but "low floor" guys don't end up amounting to shit.

Yep. I'd be worried about his limitations if I was drafting 1 through 5. But, at 10, you can play him in a 3&D role in Game 1.

Jalen has 1 good option and 1 bad option imo.

More years at Kansas is a far better option than overseas or G League.

One thing that might not be widely known about J Will because of his class is that he will be 22 years old next season.

How much is delaying the start of a pro career worth?
