What does everyone think the odds are of Yesufu starting vs. Yesufu transferring as of today knowing that KU is showing interest in Kendric Davis and Jahmir Young?

My preference in order is Davis, Yesufu, Young.

I think there's the win at all costs amateurism is a sham crowd even though we were the first team to win a title without x number of top recruits and there's a group that thinks you still can win without sneaking around, paying players illegally* and wanting to maintain whatever level of collegiate sports is left, meaning upperclassmen, graduating from KU with degrees, at the school that they play for.

Look at Dave.
The guy who scored the game winner.
And the bucket after.
And won scholar athlete of the year.
And shoulda won FF MOP.

I'm not sure about a Penny transfer.
I'll root for Harris, Pettiford, Cuffe and the rest of the guys on the roster.

Also, on a personal note, the one season transfer isn't the same as cheering for a guy you've seen grow at KU.

Same. Remy was my least favorite rotation player this year (i am not counting Yesufu KJ or Clemence as rotation players for purposes of this convo). Not a knock on him. Just a personal preference thing.

It's the perfect comparison, right? Top ten guy out of high school who played selfishly and underperformed as a freshman and is looking for a new start.

The unknown is if he has the mental toughness to figure it out, like Malik eventually did.
