Devonte has been battling injuries, but also has a position battle going with Jose Alvarado it appears. With Jose playing more the last 2 games. Last night was also probably not a great matchup as the clips and pelicans both went with tall/long lineups for stretches of the game w/ CJ at point.

Whether or not it works out long term in NO for Devonte, he's proven himself as a guy who can get 30 on any given night, so he will land on his feet regardless.

That's a shitty way for those birds to die but I would say, unfortunately, food chain, and, also, I like to eat chicken, so do a lot of humans and we have eaten chicken for a very very long time.

Kyrie is unreal. His offensive game is so fun to watch.

As great as he is and was today, he just gave up the game winner.

Yes. Multiple bad defenses moments on that final possession.

Bulls did a great job weathering the early storm from the Bucks. Doubt they can win the series, but am hoping they can keep games competitive. Not having Lonzo hurts.

Gutter: you going to the games in Chi?

Very good chance if the Celtics win the series it's because their defense (and coach/coaching staff) > Nets defense (and coach/coaching staff).

Better chance I go to a Bucks vs. Celts/Nets game in Milwaukee than a Bucks/Bulls game in Chicago.
Agreed, not having Lonzo hurts.
Other worthless observations/thoughts/opinions.....
DeRozan in the playoffs isn't DeRozan in the regular season.
Vucevic with a wasted game.
This is series is about as exciting to me as watching two bad college baseball teams play each other.
The Bulls without Jordan probably won't win another Championship in my lifetime.
Bucks in 5. Or 4.

Vuc missed some bunnies. Bulls didn't hit 3s. Derozan wasn't great. Still in the game late.

Bucks are so solid. They didn't play especially well. Not sure how much was rust and how much was Bulls defense.

Devonte got in, missed 2 shots and had a bad turnover, and then got pulled in favor of Alvarado. Now looks like Alvarado rolled an ankle to something. Still in the game though, but looks a little gimpy.

Chris Paul almost has a 30 point triple double.

Yeah but he's no Cliff Paul. Or Adam Hage - my State Farm agent.

Serious question. Are Paul, Ayton, and Booker the best "Big 3" in the playoffs right now?
Hard to say when you also have Thompson, Curry, and Poole/Wiggins.

I'd go:

1. Giannis Middleton Jrue
2. Steph Klay Dray
3. Booker CP3 Ayton
4. Embiid Harden Harris
5. Butler Lowry Bam

All three of Phoenixes guys could be argued as top 25 ( maybe Ayton barely pushing that—I’d have him lower ) players so as a mean, I think yes.

Klay is still out of form.

Since March 25th Klay has games of 37pts, 25pts, 36pts, 33pts, and 41pts.

He looks pretty in form imo. He's averaging right around his career averages across the board. And now with Wiggins he's not forced to guard the other teams best offensive player nearly as much.
