Rainbows I'm sorry you have nothing better to do than to go digging stuff up on a message board.

Reading between the lines here, this sounds a little bit like "First Round or Senior Season." I don't see him struggling at the combine the way Och did, though.

His rebounding skill is why I would draft him--pretty confident in his shooting too.

honestly hes a good fit to be an off guard in the league. has all the tools. Im betting he goes late 1st round this season and extended NBA career as a role player

If he had a quicker release on his jump shot he'd be taken at the end of the lottery.

Me too, but I think what's missed about the rebounding is that it signals high-level athleticism and instincts.

Jalen must have some pretty amazing instincts then

I had two friends tell me this weekend that not only was Jalen our best player in the tournament, that Jalen would be the best NBA player of this bunch.

I have been very bad at predicting this stuff before, but I vehemently disagreed.

That's silly. I have been watching the playoffs. Can't find anyone who I view as very similar to Jalen.

I could of course be wrong, but I would imagine that if Jalen had a leap to make physically, it would have happened by now. So, there's a path for your friends to be correct, BUT it involves a guy who is a <30% 3pt shooter in college being >40% in the NBA. Seems unlikely!

That seems a lot more likely that the other paths for Jalen to be an impact player at the NBA level. I would invest more in a guy who just has to improve his shot than, say, get more athletic. The league is full of guys who shot the 3 better in the NBA than in college. Brook Lopez didn't start shooting 3s until like 4 years ago. PJ Tucker attempted four 3s his entire career at Texas. Alec Burks, Grant Williams, even Wiggins to name a few more off the top of my head.

Well Jalen probably needs to get more athletic and stronger too. Especially if he is going to be a small 4.

I think Jalen could come back, show the scouts he is a better three point shooter than what happened this year, because he is, and get drafted early 2nd next year after he is 1st team B12 and fucks around with a couple AA teams.

Wilson should stay in college and make as much NIL money as he can for as long as he can.

In the spirit of the thread title, you have to think that NIL plays a big role as to why CB is not two feet into the NBA Draft pool.

So is CB the best/most impactful State of Kansas player on a title team here?

I don't think Danny counts.
