we got 4” with more supposedly coming

gotta love spring time in the mountains
I mean, no doubt we needed the precipitation.... its just a weird switch for mid April. Had to re-winterize things around the house, my early garden had started popping up, its probably dead now.....and this was probably a bad week to pick to work exclusively outside and off a scaffold haha.

ill just keep reminding myself we need the moisture.....because we do, desperately.
we definitely need it too

i’ve got the camping itch something fierce, but i guess a bit more postponement is worthwhile if it stages off fire season a bit longer
Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

I just logged into my Instagram account and found that it had been disabled because I didn't follow the community guidelines. Do they close accounts if you never post anything? I followed the link to complain that they had made a mistake (like they suggested), but they wanted me to send them a photo of myself holding a piece of paper with a code written on a piece of paper.

Musk buying Twitter.
Bunch of angry Tweeters.

Less moderation.
Possibly an open source algorithm for how Tweets are shared/distributed.

I think Musk owning twitter will go about as well as Zuck owning Facebook.

I agree ( just by the trend of these billionaire individuals and the egos that run with it ) but I do agree with some of his base theories.
Twitter, and it's tough to say this, I think has a responsibility regarding free speech, even though technically it's a business and can manage as they wish, and it sounds like he agrees.
People having accounts deleted because of controversial statements isn't the way I personally feel Twitter should be run.

This does not apply, for me, to an individual with a lot of power who very clearly attempted to overthrow our Democratic process, as that is not misinformation or unpopular opinion, but rather a clear danger, so fuck that guy.

Yea.
Dunno if that’ll be great but the principle I agree with.
Twitter should be less trigger happy to perma ban accounts.

I don't think it'll be Elon personally sitting there deciding who/what tweets to ban.

Plus, it's a publicly traded company.

If you don't like Elon owning it, don't use the app or read the tweets. Easy fix.

If I side with the refs on a terrible call that causes us to loose a game; or If I post an "it WAS a great season" surrender post during halftime of an NCAA championship game; or if I post multiple times that one of our best players is garbage during a tournament game, feel free to ban me.
Defense. Rebounds.

That "terrible" call, was the correct call according to the rules they cited iirc. Although there is definitely some room for interpretation and some aspects of the play could be viewed in ways that make it a "bad" call. I have read refs/rules experts say it was correct. I have read refs/rules experts say it was incorrect. Also, we were down 5 when it happened. It definitely "cost us a chance" to drive 50yards to score a TD for the win, but it didn't "cost us a win" imo.

It was a great season. And it would have still been a great season if we hadn't won. That's not a surrender post. That is a stop the negativity, put some positive vibes into the universe post.

And artichokes are gross.

For sure.
But this place ain’t twitter either.
It’s just 30 ousdahl socks and illy/gutter.

Also, I’ve only banned two posters that weren’t spam bots here.
