Legalizing Sports Betting

Post by UnholyLivingDead »

Creating a thread here for discussion on the issue.

Kansas House committee for Federal and State Affairs is going to meet again tomorrow morning to try to get their bill to the House for a full vote after talks stalled this morning.

Missouri's sports betting legislation is now up to their Senate vote.

They should legalize it everywhere.

It should be illegal to discuss it on tv, radio, or any type of media. It's basically ruined most sports shows.

It should be punishable by death to waste someone's time telling them about your bad beat.
I only came to kick some ass...

Rock the fucking house and kick some ass.

I agree. Nobody wants to hear about your fantasy team. Nobody wants to hear about your betting ticket.

The Kansas legislature got their sports betting bill done and Governor Kelly is expected to sign it.

On the other side of the state line, it sounds like Missouri's version of the bill is dead.

surprising…woulda expected the opposite
Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

Missouri wants people to gamble their disposable money in the STL casinos. Not online.

Same. The Kansas Senate voted super late last night and it got the 21 votes needed to pass. I think they were at least a little bit motivated to get this done and in place if Missouri isn't going to in order to try and get a little of that revenue coming across in KC.
