"Andrew Wilhoite got 60 votes during Tuesday's primary to pursue one of three open seats on the Clinton Township Board. He was one of three candidates for the board on the Republican ballot, which meant all three would win a nomination."

3 spots, 3 candidates. All would "win" a nomination by default.

Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

I can....but makes me wonder if you actually read your own link. Or got caught up in headlines again...

He won by default.

He wasn't running against liberals.

He (the guy in the first link you posted) won a primary "nomination" because there were 3 open spots on the ballot and only 3 people entered their name in the race. But yes, 60 people voted for him. The other 2 got more votes in the primary than him.

Can you be on a school board from prison?

Definitely a fucking strange situation. But I still don't think you read your own article because you mentioned liberals and winning, when he it was a republican ballot, and only 3 people for 3 spots, so they all were going to "win" regardless of votes.

Carry on kids (gutter voice).

He is such an utter piece of shit.
I say that as someone who took my NON "BIRTHING" mother to brunch today.
I say that as someone who has a sister that has 3 children she did NOT give birth to.

Questions for the people who are scared of becoming a minority: Why is that? Are minorities treated differently?

Shockingly (to me) he conceded with class - at least so far. Today is a new day.
Will be interesting to see what becomes of him.

I kinda wonder if it was all the homo shit that did him in, or just the fact he was throwing his fellow GOP homies under the bus.

I'm not sure the salacious vids and pics would have ever been leaked if not for the fact ol' Maddy was accusing other Republican lawmakers of cocaine orgies and shit. His career would have prob been better off if he had stayed in step with his own party.

Eh, I think the GOP is fine with almost any scandal. But, not the gays. They hate the gays. Jesus said so.
