Convincing a team he can be a reliable 3pt shooter is the only way he gets drafted imo. That is a fantastic start.

Idk if any of you have been watching the warriors/mavs series. But Andrew Wiggins has been absolutely hoopin. Hes been guarding Luka and making life tough for him and still being one of the warriors most aggressive productive offensive threats

Yes. Especially the defensive part of it all.

Golden State is in another good spot. They have Poole and Wiggins who can carry the franchise into the future as Klay Dray and Steph age. Kuminga is a decent piece too.

And a deep find in Gary Payton the 2nd.
And who knows what happens with Wiseman.

Wiseman is a toss up. He's so young. And he's played so little. Based on how good GS track record is at drafting and/or development, I think it's reasonable to assume eventually he will become a legit contributing piece to their team. Just may be a few more years away.

This season makes me believe they'll keep him.
Ramps up his defense. Makes All Star team.
Kerr, Steph and Dray love the dude.

Even a month or 2 ago I wondered.

Now I don't. Especially if they win a championship this season. Which seems very likely.

The only thing preventing it is that his salary cap hit is as much as Jokic and Embiid. Hard to pay a guy the same amount as #1 and #2 in the MVP race to be your 4th best player.

Hoops fans have been waiting for that moment for nearly 10 years, but we will see it for decades.

It won't be once Embiid and Jokic and Wiggins are all under new contracts in the next few years.

Yeah, Wiggins contract has just one year remaining so I expect that he will be taking a pay cut in his next contract. He'd be wise to look for a similar role where he doesn't have to be one of the superstar players on a team. He just doesn't seem to be wired for that.
